Last week we had shared with you our blog about how to take interesting and original photos of children. As you know, kids are an unlimited source of inspiration not only in daily life but also in world of photography. Today we will try to give you more hints about children photography.
- Clothing
Clothing is an important element of any photo. We don’t need to over emphasize on what our kid wears. And there’s no need to struggle to get expensive clothing for your kid. Don’t forget, the kid needs to feel comfortable for you to be able to take a photo of her expression of happiness. Instead of a fancy dress or tshirt, her comfort is more important.
- Try to catch her having fun
Every kid has their moments having wild fun. Like dancing and screaming around in the house. Doesn’t matter how loud it gets, just pick up your camera and try to immortalize the moment of happiness in pictures.
- Start a dialog with your kid
Talk with your child. Ask them questions about their favourite stories, books or friends from kindergarden. If the kid is smaller, get him to make sounds or sing! You will notice how easy to see so many positive emotions in your kid’s face. Believe me, it always works.
- Keep the composition of your photo simple.
Don’t forget that it is important to have your kid be in the foreground while taking their pictures. Look for some place that won’t distract your little model and where you can create a simple composition. A meadow or woods may be a great idea.
- Turn photography into fun!
Children are a great source of inspiration. For that reason we shouldn’t forget that whatever hint we use, we should have fun taking photos. Both for our kid and ourself. Take a plenty pictures, with our without preperation, but keep contact with your child. Orient yourself with your kid’s different states of mood and have fun together!
And once you acquired a collection of your child’s photos; don’t forget to get the best of them printed and immortalize them in the pages of a photobook or a photocalendar. This way you will be able to share your best memories with your loved ones!
